Learning mobility, social inclusion and non-formal education. Access, processes and outcomes
The results of RAY (Research-based Analysis of Youth in Action) provide strong evidence for the beneficial effects of international projects for young people with fewer opportunities. The authors present very important results suggesting that international youth projects can support learning of young people with fewer opportunities. Young people with fewer opportunities who participated in mobility projects indicate, for example, greater perceived improvements in diverse competences compared to those with most opportunities, as well as more interest in European issues following their international experience. Moreover, the chapter also shows that it is important to focus directly on inclusion, as projects targeting inclusion themes seem to generate more positive outcomes for the participants and their organisations.
